Activities

Safari (Game Drives)
The main activities of our guests are game drives with one of the best wildlife areas in the world. Game drives are our speciality and our 4x4 game drive vehicles (called "game viewer") are designed to offer you an unobstructed view into the environment. Especially animal and landscape photographers will appreciate this feature. Our specially trained, experienced and multilingual safari guides will ensure that each and every game drive will be an unforgettable safari within one of the last paradise - the Masai Mara.

Walking Safari
You can also, without a vehicle, directly from our camp start a Walking Safari. Guided by a Masai Warrior you will explore the banks of the Mara River with its hundreds of hippos and crocodiles. Or do bird watching in the vicinity of the camp. A great experience.

Visit to a Masai Village
You have the possibility to visit a nearby Masai village and to meet with the traditional Masai people. They will show you their traditional customs and you will have a chance to enter their homesteads and manyattas.

Swimming Pool

Our swimming pool is not the biggest one in the Masai Mara but for sure the most stunning one! The pool is embedded into rocks and you will enjoy a spectacular view down to the Mara River and the vast Mara plains.

Mountainbike Tours

Increasingly popular are the trips with our mountain bikes. Whether sporty or relaxed - the choice is yours. A Mountain bike tour is offering the optimum "cruising speed" to see much and still keep an eye on the little things along the road.

Hot-Air Balloon Safaris

The most unforgettable experience during your stay in the Masai Mara will be an early morning hot-air balloon safari. The balloon takes off shortly after sunrise. You will be gliding over the Masai Mara and witness the "Big Five" from the crate of the balloon. After a soft landing in the middle of the game reserve you will be served a "champagne breakfast" and handed over a "ballooner's certificate".

Day Trips to Rusinga Island, Lake Victoria

From the nearby airstrip you will be flying in a private charter plane to the Rusinga Island Lodge situated at the shores of the Lake Victoria. The lodge is offering fishing excursions and boat trips and also visits to a traditional museum and to an old fishermen village. After a delicious lunch at the lodge you will board your plane and take off to a 45 minutes return flight to the Masai Mara.

Scenic Flights over the Masai Mara

In cooperation with Kenya Safari Wings we offer scenic flights over the Masai Mara in a private plane. Enjoy the "Out-of-Africa" feeling and shoot your own aerial photographs of the huge animal herds crossing the Masai Mara.
